noun a piercing through the inner cartilage fold of the ear, just above the earhole:
my daith healed easily compared to the rest of my piercings.
– ORIGIN 1990s: perhaps from Hebrew da‘aṯ knowledge (possibly with reference to the belief that a ring in a daith piercing allows only intelligent speech to be heard).
