NOTE ध्यान दीजिए कि neither के बाद एकवचन संज्ञा और क्रिया आती है
—Neither day was suitable. Neither of
के बाद आने वाला संज्ञा या सर्वनाम वहुवचन में होता लेकिन क्रिया एकवचन या बहुवचन हो सकता है —Neither of the days is/are suitable.

‘I don’t like fish.’ ‘Neither do I.’
( informal ) ‘I don’t like fish.’ ‘Me neither.’
NOTE इस अर्थ में nor का प्रयोग भी इसी प्रकार हो सकता है
‘I don’t like fish.’ ‘Nor do I.
’ ध्यान दीजिए कि not…either के प्रयोग में शब्दों का क्रम बदल जाता है —I haven’t seen that film.’ ‘I haven’t either.’
